Ki Aji Pratama, is a practitioner and teacher of kasunyatan, which in the modern world is known as ‘mindfulness’. Kasunyatan turns out to be local Indonesian wisdom that has existed since pre-historic times. Kasunyatan is the basic principle of consciousness, life, leadership, social-community, nature conservation, and human physical and psychological health.
Kasunyatan is a way of life for Indonesian people, just like Zen in Japan, Dao in China, Buddhism in India, and so on. Kasunyatan or ka-sunyata-an is a way to live in the real world, namely the ultimate reality that brings the observer to become a perfect human being.
Ki Aji teaches kasunyatan in schools, madrasas, seminars, and in various local and multinational companies that uphold the values of respect for fellow human beings and environmental preservation.
Ki Aji is the author of the book ‘Becoming a Human Who Can Feel, Not Feeling Can’. Inviting us all to be aware of every breath, connected to our highest potential, connected to fellow humans, connected to other living creatures, and connected to the universe.
